Gletson Alves

Director of the Ministerial Biblical Philosophy Program

Glétson Dantas Alves is married to Andrielle Michelle and is the father of Ágatha Liz (6 years old), Adhilla Sara (3 years old), and Allicy Sofia (1 month and a half). A Brazilian born in Carnaúba dos Dantas, in the hinterlands of Rio Grande do Norte, he is the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Carnaúba dos Dantas.

In addition to his pastoral ministry, Glétson teaches biblical languages, exegesis, hermeneutics, and expository preaching. He has also served as a consultant for the Taipa Bible Project, an oral translation initiative in Brazil for the sertanejo dialect. He holds a degree in History from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, a master’s degree in Theology from the School of Pastors at the First Baptist Church of Atibaia (EPPIBA), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Theology at Grace School of Theology. Additionally, he has postgraduate degrees in Expository Preaching (Preaching the Word) and Biblical Counseling (SBPV).
